I would like to express my disappointment at with all the incidents which are happening now in our beloved country and in our town.
Aren't the people of San Pedro tired of all this??? I know or think that the authorities are working hard but like PM Barrow said in one occassion, how can we go against them with our 800 soldiers??? Is he saying that we do not have enough security to take care of our country or is it that he does not believe in our security forces?
Yes, they busted people with drugs, yes they found three dead bodies, yes they got 25 kilos of cocaine yes they have done that, but one thing I realize we have failed to do is organize ourselves and most certainly, the criminals have noticed that. I believe that this is why we see so many things happening in our island. We have not had support from GOB even with a UDP town council.
Our brothers and sisters in the northern part of the country also had an exiting weekend which also ended tragically. Must we see more blood shed, must we have more deaths due to drugs? must take matters into our hands? I guess all am trying to say is that after one year, of the UDP administration, we have seen more cases of crime and murders than ever before. ARE YOU READY, WILLING AND ABLE to make a difference? Political Creed

I am a member of the People’s United Party, because I believe:

1. That all human beings are equal regardless of race, color, creed or gender;

2. That every Belizean has right to freedom of expressions, of movement, of religious belief and of association within the context of the law;

3. That every Belizean has the right to the protection of life and property according to law;

4. That the best form of government for Belize is based on democratic principles that guarantee the right to vote in free and fair elections and where governments are accountable to the people;

5. That every Belizean is an integral part of the nation and has a right and a duty to participate in the peaceful, constructive, Belizean revolution which has brought us freedom and the INDEPENDENT BELIZE whose natural resources and environments we must protect, enhance and hold in trust for future generations.
